La collaborazione di Luigi Sturzo alla Res Publica di Francesco Luigi Ferrari
in Storia e Politica , Anno II, n. 1, Atti/Proceeding Convegno su "Luigi Sturzo nella cultura politica del '900" , 2010
Res Publica, Revue d‟études politiques internationales, was a bimonthly jour-nal edited in French and published in Paris from October 1931 to February 1933. This editorial initiative succeeded in leaving a great lesson of popular and democratic culture, giving voice to intellectuals of different experiences and backgrounds, united in their mutual opposition to Totalitarianism. The paper, presented at the meeting in Turin, shows the role of Luigi Sturzo as an active contributor and the true editor and “soul” of the Journal. Finally, the aim of Sturzo and Francesco Luigi Ferrari was to make Res Publica the intellectual medium of the “White Popular International” and the cultural in-strument of those Italians who were to devote themselves to renewing the ideas and the political institutions of their native country after the fall of the fascist dictatorship.
