    The friendship between Carlo Rosselli and Ernesto Rossi, grown in the Florentine environment and strongly influenced by the presence of Gaetano Salvemini, represents a pivotal event in the history of Antifascism: besides being at the roots of the birth of "Giustizia e Libertà", such friendship was the basis for the debate on the concepts of Liberalism, free trade, Socialism, Europe. In the struggle against Fascism and in the devotion to his memory such a relationship outlasted even the tragical death of Carlo Rosselli.
