    The purpose of this article is to present a practical approach of the new european dimension that the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty represents for the Autonomic Parliaments. It's been more than two years since the Early Warning System started being operational. In the Spanish case, this has been institutionalized by the Law 24/2009 of 22 December 2009. Since then, Autonomic Parliaments have been able to provide an immediate answer to the development of inner procedures which allow them to accomplish their task of verifying the European Union legislation. Nevertheless, the high number of queries, the short period of time available to resolve them, and often its overlap, make this task especially complicated. The Cortes de Aragón's long experience, due to its active participation in the control of subsidiarity, enables the Aragonese Parliament to identify channels and proposals which can help improving the limited efficiency of the autonomic contribution to the system.
