    The seminar “The role of the national and regional parliaments in the policy formulation and decision making process in European affairs” took place on June 13th and 14th in Guadalmina (Spain). It was organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation together with the Manuel Giménez Abad Foundation. Both organisations have done much work on the new prerogatives given to both national and regional parliaments by the Lisbon Treaty since its entry into force in December 2009 and have fostered the establishment of a fruitful dialogue between scholars and practitioners.
